Emotional hygiene is an important as physical hygiene. Just as we take care of our physical hygiene, spend some time daily to monitor your emotional health, address psychological wounds and work on it, your emotional resilience will increase and help to live your best life. Chronic BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES loneliness, failure regrets, rejection are emotional injuries, if we dont address it and correct it in the right time we would go into same trouble again and again and may escalate into worse mental state. This can in turn affect: physical health.

How To Practice Emotional Hygiene

  • Beaware of your emotional pain
    When you are emotional pain, recognise it and take healthy steps to ease it as soon as possible. Dont hesitate to seek help if required.
  • Be gentle to yourself
    Don't blame yourselves and put your self esteem down when you face a failure, instead change your reaction to failure. Take it as an opportunity to understand your strength and weakness and work on it to got better result next time.
  • Keep a check on negative thinking
    Consciously try to battle out negative thoughts. Don't let these negative thoughts to hurt you again and again. Dont ruminate. Bring positive distractions.
  • Protect your self esteem and self worth
    Avoid negative self talk. Realise your inner strength and boost your emotional immune system. It can increase your resilience and protect you from stress and anxiety.
  • Connecting with your spirituality
    Spirituality helps us to deal with lifes ups and downs in a better way, helps to overcome hardships and help improve overall mental health.
  • Self care routines
    Practice meditation, yoga, mindfulness, Regular exercise, sell care routines. Find time for travel, small vacations build good relationships.
